I just found the"Historic Ghent Hamlet" PDF posting which contained some informative narratives in which Libby Bauman plays the part of historic residents in "letters" written to the reader of the post. One resident, Sarah Boltz Hershey, is described as having knowledge of a consideration of the potential benefits and drawbacks of bringing railroad traffic through the hamlet. I was immediately fascinated by what this implied, namely that somebody had apparently put down in writing some description of how the local culture of Ghent would be obliterated by exposing it to railroad traffic. Since we are all today so totally immersed in the "mobile society", it is so intriguing yet hard to clearly imagine the point of view of those who saw the railroad as a potential destroyer of the special joy they had built in the solitude of Ghent. I would so love to be able to read the exact words that were recorded upon the consideration of whether or not to build those railroad tracks. Thank you for this invaluable post which calls to mind a former beautiful quality of life which people used to build around themselves in the absence of material comforts, and which now has fallen into complete neglect as the modern pursuit of those comforts has swollen into an all consuming obsession and addiction.

A Swim Spa is a counter current swimming pool that also shares the same concept and ideas as a Hydrotherapy and Hydro Massage Spa and Hot Tub. A Swim Spa is the ideal pool for the practice of regular water exercise, swimming or even aqua-jogging, with the comfort and relaxation of the pleasant soothing warm water.
